Thanks for putting together this list. It is the intention to make the UI and editing abilities consistent across different data editors, including deleting records, and I've made some big progress on internals recently (EditorKit) to allow that.

Odd that you can't delete backdrops although you can delete tilesets from the Import/Export Tilesets menu. I think that means that it used to be possible to delete backdrops until a few years ago, because the Import/Export Tilesets/Backdrops menus were previously identical.

Bug #247 related.
