Since there's a Windows zip available too I guess putting it in the
installer is OK. (Unless we have a second installer without it)
Also, we should list the filesize of each download.

Downloading directly from a gamelist would be a cool feature! I don't see
which part of it would be too slow. SS's gamedump.php is only 200kB
uncompressed; if the description and screenshot(s) are downloaded on demand
and possibly cached it would be fine.

I still have the ambition of someday letting Custom upload games too, first
as a backup service (private by default) but more interestingly as a way to
collaboratively edit a game.
