[Ohrrpgce] Unable to type hero battle menu captions on Windows with gfx_sdl

Well, that's odd!
Sorry, too busy right now to do OHR work or even read emails. It seems like
every night I get home after 11pm for one reason or another, but maybe
tomorrow will be a change.
I didn't have anything important to check in aside from a zonemap
corruption bug. I already fixed the bug and wrote some zonemap testcases,
but the bugfix caused the testcases to fail instead of the other way
around, so I didn't check it in... I'm certain that there is a bug, and
fairly confident that my fix is correct. I think the testcase is buggy.
