My best guess is that the graphics driver needs to be updated, or something's up in the code--a strong probability. ;) Could you try updating the graphics driver?

I already had the latest drivers. And I meant that the support website
said that, not dxdiag.

Anyway, that's fine, though I'll continue trying it on other old computers.
