Well, you and I are highly computer literate programmers, and we never panic
when our mouse does unexpected things :)

Actually, in all seriousness, I used to use Qemu a lot, and it drove me INSANE
that it always grabbed my mouse. I could break out by switching desktops, but
it was really irritating. When an to it update added the hint to the title bar,
all that frustration melted away (in spite of the fact that I was still using
the same number of keypresses to free my mouse as I was before)
