No. I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet. I am pretty sure that 
the battle crash is only happening when compiled with QB 7.1. I also 
strongly suspect that this is related to the changes in bug 84 
( http://hamsterrepublic.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=84 ) Either 
directly from the "Out of Memory" error, or as a side effect of my 
attempts to fix the Out of Memory.

Quick Basic 7.1 consumes more stack space than QuickBasic 4.5 for some 
reason, so out-of-memory problems can manifest earlier in QB71 compiled 
EXE files.

If somebody can find a test-case and attach it to a new bug in bugzilla, 
I am sure we can figure out why this is happening.
