<p dir="auto">There are four different problems mentioned in this old bug report:</p>
<ul dir="auto">
<li>(solved) Symlinks in OHRRPGCE-Game.app weren't preserved when distributing to Mac from Windows. We worked around this problem by just deleting all the symlinks in OHRRPGCE-Game.app in <code class="notranslate">bundle-apps.sh</code>. Ten years ago we also had a separate "linkless" archive which is still available for download for ancient versions but hidden.</li>
<li>(solved) Executable bit not set on ohrrpgce-game when distributing for Mac from Windows. This worked for many years because Finder set +x on all files extracted from a Windows zip, recently broke again, refiled as <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load title" data-id="1222678583" data-permission-text="Title is private" data-url="https://github.com/ohrrpgce/ohrrpgce/issues/1239" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/ohrrpgce/ohrrpgce/issues/1239/hovercard" href="https://github.com/ohrrpgce/ohrrpgce/issues/1239">#1239</a>, and fixed by using zip_exec</li>
<li>"If you install OHRRPGCE-Custom.app to /Applications then the distribute game menu no longer works. In particular, wget_download fails."  I don't know about this one</li>
<li>The line "OHRRPGCE Game" in <code class="notranslate">Contents/Info.plist</code> should technically be replaced with the actual name of the game when distributing. This probably only matters for the About box?</li>
