<p>Bitdefender, premium or trial versions, has a feature called <a href="https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2025/" rel="nofollow">Safe Files</a> (which is on by default) that blocks any application that tries to access the Documents folder.</p>
<p>Here's a blocked message that appeared when trying to run game.exe from the Desktop. Reported by one of Prifurin's playtesters.<br>
<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1165449/85417681-ff9dc000-b5c3-11ea-92e4-f4255da0adab.png"><img src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1165449/85417681-ff9dc000-b5c3-11ea-92e4-f4255da0adab.png" alt="dfghjklu" style="max-width:100%;"></a></p>
<p>I'm surprised that game.exe tried to write to Documents; that could be worth fixing if it can cause problems like this. Maybe it's the default curdir and it tried to write g_debug.txt? Can't find another explanation. Haven't tested.</p>
