<p>Feenicks said he couldn't reproduce it. However a couple of weeks ago Sword had a game where accessing Map would crash 100% reliably, on his RPi. I got him (at the time) to produce a backtrace which showed malloc_printerr, and the rest of the stacktrace was missing. So this appears to be memory corruption. He sent me the .rpg (nearly empty, one map, just shows a few backdrops before you reach the map and can view the backdrop) but it doesn't crash for me. I got him to try again today, and it didn't crash.</p>
<p>I also tried running the game from Sword and Arc Wars under valgrind, nothing. (Except an unrelated warning).</p>
<p>Also, I have seen a few map data-related crashes and errors. For example crash report ca61cf10 crashed inside drawmap because the tileset ptr was NULL, 85fb4b1c crashed in blitohr called from drawmap, and someone showed a screenshot of the tileset getting filled with garbage in Game while live-previewing. May be all the same problem, but will file a separate bug for those.</p>
