This is a FreeBASIC bug which has caused random nightly build failures for us since 2021. Searching my emails it's happened just 28 times in a nightly build. 

I filed a bug report back in 2022 and Jeff fixed it in FB 1.10: https://sourceforge.net/p/fbc/bugs/951/

So I'll close this.
