I meant to respond at the time... you mentioned attacks. So maybe you're not aware that the attack editor, enemy editor and textbox editor (only at the top level menu and Textbox Appearance submenu) already have a feature like this: hold Alt and press Left/Right to go to the previous/next record, or hold Alt and type in an ID (you can use backspace too). This is something we should add to all editors. I'm currently working on improvements to many editors.
