Fix more places that didn't check for negative HP

Most of these checks are in the battle system, where *currently* HP can never
be negative, but there are a couple real fixes here:

-A hero entering battle with negative HP wouldn't start off dead (I think),
 dying immediately
-Heroes with negative HP could still use attacks OOB from the Spells menu
