Actually, the eatsoap scripts don't read the joystick at all. But maybe
you're referring to platform specific keys?

On PC, Space to bubble doesn't work. Is that what you mean? It's because of
this line in "handle keys":
  if(any player menu key || keyval(key:Enter) >> 1) then(pause menu)
That hits bug 1106 https://github.com/ohrrpgce/ohrrpgce/issues/1106
I forgot to put the bug on my todo list! I definitely wanted to fix that
one too.

However even with that bugfix, it looks like joystick controls on PC aren't
going to work, and they never worked, so that's OK. I'm not sure whether
mobile & console gamepad controls will work.
