For simplicity's sake, I am going to make this a single preference-- also I have decided it is better to do it per-computer rather than per-RPG file. If two people are collaborating on a single RPG file and one of them has an old slow computer, it doesn't make sense for them to have to toggle this bit on and off every time they pass the rpg file back and forth.
