Oh, nice!
Trying it out, I do feel like left-clicking away should close the menu too,
especially if you brought it up by right clicking, since menus brought up
in that way always close when you click away, in all cases I can think of.
I know we talked about this before, but I thought you suggested last time
that left-clicking away shouldn't close a floating window.
I guess it depends on how modal the menu is. There's sort of a scale from a
popup menu when you right-click on something, through floating windows, to
modal dialogs like "are you sure you want to quit?" And multichoice() is
used for different purposes.
So maybe left-clicking should only close a multichoice or other floating
menu in some cases? Those cases should be indicated visually. For example
we could put a chequed background behind menus which are modal (can't be
closed by left-click) but not behind pop-up menus (can be closed)

Also, a landmark start to using right-clicking!
