mac: Fix spawn_and_wait not working when settings_dir is in ~/Library/Application Support

Proper filename escaping wasn't performed.

This didn't effect anything run using SHELL.

I forgot to test whether this works with filenames containing characters
like $, but it would only matter if those characters appeared in settings_dir,
probably implying that they're in the username.
