I find it helpful to "svn add" any new files immediately. That way, figuring out what files are new and which are changed is just an "svn status" away!

It's not so much the ugly code as it is I can't figure out which file has been updated, which is to be deleted, which is to be added. Worse, the code is in transition, so I don't definitively know yet which source is dependent on certain files. By tonight I'll have it worked out. It's a nightmare with all this code!
