Rushed ahead and made gfx_*_init return init success (but only gfx_sdl can actually fail), and temp wrapper for gfx_directx.
And don't use print, doesn't show up on windows by default (but I REALLY don't like show_help_string(). That's probably causing fbgfx to be always linked, for major bloat!)
